Each element is aligned with the Wheel of the Year along with many other associations. I primarily work with the elements, which explains the grouping by elements but there is nothing to stop you choosing a different association to group these all by. If you primarily work with one of the given associations, then consider this a list for those associations. As with most things, you will probably find varying associations the more you read and explore - changes are usually made following years of personal practice and to provide others with the foundational perspective of the practitioner.

Please be aware that this is in no way a comprehensive list of associations. You will probably know by now that I am not a great fan of association lists as they should come from personal practice - but they are a good starting point. You are fully expected to adapt, add and subtract these associations as you walk your spiritual path.

Theme: In the Fire element we see drive, passion and willpower. We are prompted to maintain focus and consider how our actions effect all connections. Fire holds the theme of fertility and creativity—the fire element is the incubator of new experience. This is a phase of actively achieving your goals and sharing your talents and knowledge. Agriculturally the fields would be in bloom and we would be busy maintaining the biosphere and keeping animals away from the crops—everyone wants a piece of the action, be cautious of who you involve.

Fire in Deficit: Cold, unenthusiastic, lack of willpower, exhaustion.
